The 45 most outstanding musicians, concerts in Wroclaw Opera, Philharmonic and Wroclaw’s Market Square – you can find it only at the fourth World Bass Festival that will run in Wroclaw, 8-14 August 2010.

Wroclaw’s residence and guests who will visit Wroclaw will have a chance to listen to 18 concerts in Wroclaw Opera, Philharmonic, at Wroclaw University and University of Music and also during the weekend walk at Wroclaw’s Market Square where international double bass orchestra including musicians from champion class of classical and jazz music will perform. It’s the integral part of the festival. The classical and jazz competition of old and young age category will set on the first day of double bass event.

The World Bass Festival gained the prestige because of great musicians performing in previous editions of Festival such as: Ron Carter, John Clayton, Lars Danielsson, Renaud Gracia Fons, Tom Martin, Francois Rabbath, Francesco Petracchi, Catalin Rotaru. This year the greatest musicians from all over the world will come from: Canada, Japan, China, Europe and U.S. Wroclaw will host among others: Rufus Reid, Włodek Pawlik, Klazz Brothers, Kristin Korb, Krzesimir Dębski, Joel Quarrington, Tom Martin, Hiroshi Ikematsu and Catalin Rotaru.
