The charismatic violinist accompanied by Polish jazzmen can be seen on 21st September at the Ethno Jazz Festival. The artist will promote the new album “Shhh  !”. The album of Nigel Kennedy Quintet is a confirmation of independent status and insatiable musical appetite of one of the greatest and unpredictable musicians in Great Britain.

The new album has been recorded in the legendary rock studio in Rockfield, in the homeland of artist –  South Wales. The coauthor of one of the most incredible and surprising track on the album was Boy Georgie, the old friend and a very close neighbour of Kennedy from the southwest London. They together like the songs by Nick Drake. The gentle vocal of George in the “River Man” song indicates a new trend chosen by Kennedy’s – gentle chamber pop which he can extract the low and lyrical tones of his violin from.

Nigel Kennedy is named as a virtuoso with punk soul. He became famous because of his unique arrangements of Bach’s, Vivaldi’s, Brahms’, The Doors’ or Jimmy Hendrix’s compositions.
