Melanie Fiona is known among others  from her last song “Monday Morning”. 27 year old artist debuted in 2002 when she recorded her own demo tape and sent it to music companies. In the meantime she was working as a studio vocalist. In 2008 she took part in Reaggae Gold Festival with Supa Dups. As a support she sang before Kanye West and this year she took part in Alica Keys’ tournee. Her debut album “The Bridge” appeared in June 2009.

The single “Give It To Me Right” that promoted the album, was on the highest position in the international charts for a very long time and the next hit “It Kills Me” got a Grammy nomination in category “The best female R&B vocal performance”. “The Bridge” fully reflects the dualism of Melanie Fiona. The songs from the album “The Brigde” are the mix of classic soul (the inspiration for the artist were among others Nat ‘King’ Cole and Sam Cooke) with the modern sound of R&B, pop and reggae.
