Ernst&Young is going to open the Shared Services Centre in Wrocław in spring 2011. The new investment of Ernst&Young shows that Poland is still a competitive country for investors. The Shared Services Centre will offer a lot of workplaces to young and well-educated Poles. This new investment is an accounting and financial centre and will provide services for offices of Ernst&Young in whole Europe.

Wrocław is one of the biggest research and academic centres in Poland and it attracts investors not only because of its geographical location but also of well-qualified and well-educated employees with good language skills. Wrocław has also one of the biggest databases of companies that operate in a sector of SSC/BPO what confirms the position of the city.

Poland and Wrocław had a lot of competitors as regards the centre. Almost 50 cities from 15 countries were taken into consideration.  The centre will be the part of the global organization such as the centres in China or India.
