“Adoria”Vineyard  is run by its owner Mike Whitney and his colleagues. Mike was born among California vineyards and then he moved with his family to Washington state when the vineyards of this state became very popular. In 1995 he moved to Poland. He dreamed about his own vineyard and he was looking for the right place. He found it in south-western Poland, next to Wrocław, in Zachowice. It is where he started “Adoria” vineyard.

His wines are marked as world class wines because he has chosen the high quality of vine strains of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Reisling. Mike was looking for the right place for long time and he was cooperating with the wine experts. One year and a half and 300 rejected localizations and he finally found the right localization – Zachowice. “We bought a unique project, built the vineyard and bought the special machines. It wasn’t so easy because we had to look for the best machines and the right grapevine cuttings in the whole Europe”.

“Adoria” vineyard has three out of four main grape kinds: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling, and  Bacchus grape, the excellent, local grape that Mike found near Dresden.
