Beth Hart combines rock, blues and gospel. The media compare her very often to Janis Joplin. She has a strong and characteristic voice and her music is the uncompromising quintessence of American music. She has cooperated with Slash, Guns’N’Roses, Joe Bonamass and Less Paul. She also impersonated Janis Joplin in New York’s musical “Love, Janis”. She will be in Poland for the first time.

Being 4-years old she started playing the grand piano. One year later her family had financial problems, her father was sentenced to jail for selling drugs, and her parents divorced. Young Beth Hart fell into addiction of alcohol and drugs. She started taking drugs when she was 11. As a 14-year old girl she took heroine for the first time. She was laid off from High School for Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Fortunately, music saved her. Her carrier started wonderfully. In 1993, as a 21-year old girl she won Star Search, a popular American talent show. David Wolff – who discovered Cyndi Lauper – took care of her. Owing to him she could publish her first album in 1996 “Immortal”. The real success was the second album ”Screaming’ for my Supper” in 2000, especially the song “L.A. Song”.

In 2010 she was invited to cooperate with Slash and they produced the hit “Mother Maria”. Together with Joe Bonamass she recorded the song ”No Love on The Street” for her the newest album ”Dust Bowl”. All in all Beth Hart has published 5 albums. The last one was ”My California” from 2010  with Slash as a guest.
