Leszek Możdżer is a musician total, one of the greatest Polish jazzmen, a world class pianist and an excellent improviser. He will have a concert on 10 October in Wroclaw. During the concert he will present the songs from the new album “Komeda” in which he rediscovered and interpreted the compositions of legendary Krzysztof Komeda.

As critics say the album “Komeda” is a truly author’s and original project that is musician’s variations based on the Krzysztof Komeda’s creations. It’s also the solo debut of Leszek Możdżer in German Label ACT and it’s a tribute to the great Polish musician Krzysztof Komeda who was not only the famous pianist and compositor but is also famous from the movie songs of Roman Polański’s films.

That’s why on the album one can find the songs from the movies “Nóż w wodzie” or “Dziecko Rosemary” and other less popular but great songs. The pioneer style of Możdżer that is a fusion of classical music and jazz causes that the album “Komeda” is popular among fans of jazz and classical music.
