The zoological and botanical fairs and exhibition “Zoo-Botanica” in Wroclaw are a well known and very popular event in Poland. The last edition of “Zoo-Botanica” attracted over 130 exhibitors from zoological and botanical trade. The exhibition was visited by 19 thousand people during 3 days. “Zoo-Botanica” was divided into few parts. In the centre of Centennial Hall one could find the boxes of producers and distributors of products for animals and shops and wholesales of zoological trade.  The aquarium and terrarium exhibitons were also located in the centre.

The terrarium exhibition presented different species of reptiles and amphibians. The most popular species were arachnids – tarantulas, scorpions and bird-eating spider. Visitors could take photos of each kind of animal.

One could visit the boxes of small fur-bearing animals on the left part of the hall. There were a lot of exhibitors of guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, racial rats and ferrets. Hamsters took part in the competition for the nicest hamster of the fair.

In the right part of the hall one could see the exhibition of pedigree cats and dogs. There were a lot of aristocratic and rare races and champions.

The exhibition will run from at 10 to 12 September 2010.
